Meet Liza

Liza Morten began her career in New York in public relations, where she worked closely with many of the country’s leading AD100 designers and architects. In that role, she gained a deep appreciation for the decorative and architectural details that shape meaningful interiors, as well as the philosophies behind creating lasting environments. It was a natural evolution for her to transition into design at Kemble Interiors, where she worked in both the New York and Palm Beach offices on residential and commercial projects throughout the East Coast. Her work there culminated in receiving the Ballinger Award from the Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach for her participation in the restoration of the historic Southwood Estate in Palm Beach.

Now leading her own firm, Liza works on projects throughout the United States, collaborating closely with clients to create homes that are beautiful, comfortable, and deeply personal. She is especially drawn to houses with history and character, and equally enjoys helping newer homes feel as though they have evolved naturally over time. Her work often incorporates clients’ collections and meaningful objects so that each home feels layered, authentic, and reflective of the people who live there. Across styles and settings, she is guided by a love of craftsmanship, thoughtful detail, and rooms that feel both timeless and lived in.

Above all, Liza is known for her collaborative spirit and for making the design process feel joyful and approachable amid the many decisions involved in creating a home.

Liza attended Washington and Lee University and lives in West Palm Beach with her husband and two young children.
